For a very long while I've had a passion for Animation and more recently I have begun to really hone my skills in all areas. But before I was a full time Animator I worked with Graphic Design, CGI Modeling and layout. I am currently studying Animation Arts & Practice where I am trying my hand at every form of Animation. I am most experienced in 3D Animation (Cinema 4D) and Post Production Editing (After Effects). In the past I have studied Creative Media Production (for games) where I gained skills in 3D Modelling, creating high quality assets that I combined to make small environments and I even made miniature functioning game levels (in both 3D and 2D). Animation wise I have been building on my skills in Mo-Graph and Rigging where I have created a small environment that my character (which i modeled, weighted and rigged) walks through. My skills in Mo-Graph would be very suited to commercial logos and info graphics. I am very apt in Video Editing, putting that extra detail into pre-shot footage.

More recently I've been animating in After Effects creating Vector Graphics in Illustrator and Photoshop to later be animated.
Of course I wouldn't be any sort of animator if I hadn't worked with some more traditional mediums, one of the most prominent of these was my work on a traditional light box with animation paper. I would then proceed to record these on a rostrum setup and edit them in Dragon Frame and After Effects, my specialism however does lie in Motion Graphics, be it 2D in After Effects or 3D in C4D. Amongst all the different types of Animation I have worked with, Stop Motion was one that I learned to enjoy, creating and modelling my own models that I later Animated was something that I very much enjoyed over the course of the projects I worked on. I have done paper-cut-out (silhouette) and regular stop motion. As well as lip syhncing in stop motion. I also Voice Act which is something I've been honing more recently to give me a more diverse skill set, however if you want to checkout my VA Reel go to the Voice Acting page. |
